At Hobby Bloom, we offer pre-orders on upcoming hobby box releases so that our customers can secure their products ahead of the official release date. Pre-ordering is a great way to guarantee your spot on highly anticipated releases before they sell out β€” and at Hobby Bloom, pre-orders are handled with the same care, transparency, and commitment to authenticity as all of our in-stock products.

Please read this policy carefully before placing a pre-order.


1. What Is a Pre-Order?

A pre-order is a purchase made for a product that has been announced by the manufacturer but has not yet been released or received into our inventory. When you place a pre-order with Hobby Bloom, you are reserving your unit of that product ahead of its release date, with the understanding that it will be shipped to you as soon as it becomes available.

Pre-order listings on hobbybloom.shop are clearly labeled to distinguish them from in-stock items.


2. Payment for Pre-Orders

Pre-order items are charged in full at the time of purchase. By placing a pre-order, you authorize Hobby Bloom to charge your selected payment method immediately for the full order amount.

We accept the following payment methods for pre-orders, all processed securely through Stripe:

  • Credit Card
  • Debit Card
  • Apple Pay
  • Google Pay
  • Link by Stripe

Your payment is held securely and your order is queued for fulfillment as soon as the product arrives in our facility.


3. Pre-Order Pricing

The price displayed on the pre-order listing at the time of your purchase is the price you will be charged. Hobby Bloom does not adjust pre-order pricing after an order has been placed β€” you will not be charged more if market prices increase before the release date.

In the rare event that our cost from the distributor changes significantly and we are unable to fulfill the pre-order at the listed price, we will contact you in advance and offer you the option to:

  • Pay the adjusted price and proceed with the order
  • Cancel your pre-order for a full refund

We will never charge you more without your explicit consent.


4. Release Dates & Shipping Timelines

Release dates listed on our website are sourced directly from manufacturers and authorized distributors. These dates are estimates and are subject to change without notice due to factors outside of Hobby Bloom's control, including:

  • Manufacturing delays
  • Distribution delays
  • Import or customs issues
  • Allocation changes by the manufacturer
  • Unforeseen supply chain disruptions

Hobby Bloom is not liable for delays caused by manufacturers or distributors. We will communicate any significant release date changes to affected customers via email as soon as we are made aware of them.

Once a pre-order product is received into our facility, it will be processed and shipped within the standard 1–3 business day processing window. Standard delivery then takes 3–7 business days within the United States, with free shipping on all orders.


5. Pre-Order Cancellations

We understand that circumstances change. Pre-orders may be cancelled at any time before the product has shipped from our facility.

To cancel a pre-order:

  1. Email us at support@hobbybloom.shop with the subject line: "Pre-Order Cancellation – Order #[Your Order Number]"
  2. Include your full name and order number
  3. Our team will confirm the cancellation and process your refund within 10 business days
  4. Refunds are issued to the original payment method used at the time of purchase

Once a pre-order has shipped, it cannot be cancelled. At that point, our standard Return & Refund Policy applies β€” unopened items may be returned within 30 days of delivery.


6. Pre-Order Fulfillment Priority

Pre-orders are fulfilled in the order they are received. Customers who place pre-orders earlier in the cycle are given priority in fulfillment, particularly for products where allocation may be limited.

In the event that our allocation from the distributor is reduced and we are unable to fulfill all pre-orders placed, we will:

  • Notify all affected customers by email as soon as possible
  • Fulfill available units in the order pre-orders were received
  • Issue full refunds to any customers whose pre-orders cannot be fulfilled due to allocation shortfalls

We will never leave a customer without resolution.


7. Pre-Order Availability & Allocation

Pre-order quantities are based on our anticipated allocation from authorized distributors. While we do our best to secure sufficient inventory to fulfill all pre-orders, some highly anticipated releases are subject to limited or variable allocation from manufacturers.

Placing a pre-order does not constitute a guaranteed reservation in cases of extreme allocation shortfall beyond our control. However, in such cases, Hobby Bloom will always prioritize pre-order customers and provide prompt refunds when fulfillment is not possible.


8. Combining Pre-Orders with In-Stock Items

If your order contains both pre-order items and in-stock items, please note the following:

  • In-stock items in a mixed order will be held and shipped together with the pre-order item once it becomes available, unless you contact us to request separate shipment
  • If you would prefer your in-stock items to ship immediately, please place two separate orders β€” one for in-stock items and one for pre-order items
  • Separate shipment of in-stock items from a combined order may be accommodated upon request, subject to our team's availability to process the split

9. Pre-Order Returns & Refunds

Pre-order items are subject to the same return and refund policy as in-stock items. Once a pre-order has been shipped and delivered:

  • You have 30 days from the delivery date to initiate a return
  • Returns are accepted on unopened, factory-sealed items only
  • Refunds are processed within 10 business days of receiving and approving the returned item
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method

10. Communication & Updates

We are committed to keeping pre-order customers informed throughout the process. You can expect to receive:

  • Order confirmation email β€” immediately after your pre-order is placed
  • Release date update emails β€” if the manufacturer announces a change to the expected release date
  • Shipping confirmation email β€” as soon as your pre-order ships, including your tracking number and carrier information
  • Delivery confirmation β€” once your order has been delivered

11. Pre-Order Product Condition

All pre-order products supplied by Hobby Bloom are guaranteed to be:

12. Manufacturer Changes to Products

On rare occasions, manufacturers may make changes to a product's configuration, pack count, box count per case, or other specifications after pre-orders have been accepted. These changes are outside of Hobby Bloom's control.

If a manufacturer announces a material change to a pre-ordered product, we will notify affected customers and offer the option to maintain the pre-order at the updated specification or cancel for a full refund.
