All payments are processed through Stripe, one of the world's most trusted and secure payment platforms. We do not store your full card details on our servers at any point.


1. Accepted Payment Methods

2. Payment Currency

All prices on hobbybloom.shop are displayed and charged in U.S. dollars (USD). If you are paying with a card issued in a foreign currency, your bank or card issuer will apply their own exchange rate and may charge a foreign transaction fee. Hobby Bloom is not responsible for any currency conversion fees or foreign transaction charges applied by your financial institution.


3. When You Are Charged

In-Stock Orders

For all in-stock items, your payment method is charged immediately at the time your order is placed and confirmed.

Pre-Orders

For pre-order items, your payment method is also charged in full at the time of purchase. You will not be charged again when the item ships. Please refer to our Pre-Order Policy for full details.

Mixed Orders

If your order contains both in-stock and pre-order items, the full order amount β€” including all items β€” is charged at the time of purchase.


4. Order Confirmation

After your payment is successfully processed, you will receive an order confirmation email at the email address provided at checkout. This email will include:

  • Your order number
  • A summary of the items ordered
  • Your billing and shipping address
  • The payment method used and amount charged
  • Estimated processing and delivery timeframe

If you do not receive a confirmation email within 30 minutes of placing your order, please check your spam or junk folder. If it is not there, contact us at support@hobbybloom.shop with your name and the email address used at checkout.


5. Payment Security

6. Failed & Declined Payments

If your payment is declined at checkout, your order will not be processed or confirmed. Common reasons for payment failure include:

  • Incorrect card number, expiration date, or CVV entered
  • Insufficient funds or credit limit reached
  • Your bank flagging the transaction as potentially fraudulent
  • Billing address mismatch with your card issuer's records
  • Card restrictions on online or international transactions

What to do if your payment is declined:

  1. Double-check all payment details and try again
  2. Try an alternative payment method (Apple Pay, Google Pay, different card)
  3. Contact your bank or card issuer to authorize the transaction
  4. Reach out to us at support@hobbybloom.shop if the issue persists and we will do our best to assist

Hobby Bloom does not have visibility into the specific reason your bank declined a transaction. Your bank is the best point of contact for declined payment issues.


7. Duplicate Orders & Charges

If you believe you have been charged twice for the same order, please contact us immediately at support@hobbybloom.shop with your name, email address, and any order or transaction reference numbers available.

We will investigate promptly. In most cases, what appears to be a duplicate charge may be a temporary authorization hold placed by your bank that will clear automatically within 3–5 business days. However, if a genuine duplicate charge is confirmed, we will issue a full refund for the duplicate within 10 business days.


8. Sales Tax

Sales tax is calculated and applied at checkout where required by applicable state and local law. The tax amount, if any, will be clearly displayed before you complete your purchase. Tax rates are determined based on your shipping address and are subject to change in accordance with applicable tax legislation.


9. Pricing Errors

While we make every effort to ensure all prices on hobbybloom.shop are accurate, errors may occasionally occur. In the event that a product is listed at an incorrect price, Hobby Bloom reserves the right to:

  • Cancel the order and issue a full refund
  • Contact you to confirm whether you wish to proceed at the correct price

We will never fulfill an order at a price we know to be incorrect without first obtaining your consent.


10. Refunds

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method used at the time of purchase. Refund processing times are as follows:

  • Hobby Bloom processing time: Within 10 business days of refund approval
  • Bank or card issuer processing time: An additional 3–5 business days after we issue the refund, depending on your financial institution

Refunds cannot be redirected to a different payment method or bank account. If your original payment method is no longer active, please contact us at support@hobbybloom.shop to discuss alternative arrangements.

11. Chargebacks & Disputes

We encourage all customers to contact us directly at support@hobbybloom.shop before initiating a chargeback with their bank or card issuer. In the vast majority of cases, we can resolve issues quickly and to your satisfaction without the need for a formal dispute.

If a chargeback is filed without prior contact, we reserve the right to provide all relevant order documentation, tracking information, and communication records to Stripe and your card issuer as part of the dispute resolution process.

Fraudulent chargebacks β€” where a customer receives their order and then disputes the charge β€” may result in the customer being permanently banned from purchasing on hobbybloom.shop and may be referred to the appropriate authorities.
